I reached out to MTC about trading my Uniden Scanner in on the SDS200 and got a very good trade offer from MTC. After a little YouTube research I watched demonstrations of the SDS200 doing a great job with P25 Simulcast. I had the Uniden model that came out before the SDS200 but it would not properly decode P25 Simulcast used in my Central Texas County. I am the guy that buys a model of radio after it has been out for a year or two so the bugs are all taken care of. The Uniden programming support is first class. The SDS200 does so many things in such a small package. I have seen many new things come in the field of radio. I have been a commercial and amateur radio operator for over 50 years.
